Create Google Analytics Profile
The first step in a Google Analytics Setup is either getting access to an existing account or by creating a brand new one. If you are going to create a new account there are just a few simple steps to follow.
- Login to Google Analytics with a gmail account and navigate to the ADMIN section by clicking on the gears on the bottom of the GA left navigation.
- Enter your business’s name as the “Account Name” and then enter your website URL as the “Website Name” and the “Website URL”.
- Click “Get Tracking ID”.
- Make note of your new “Tracking ID” we will need this for the Google Tag Manager setup.
